1. A currency of its own

5. Where the lemons came from
Lemons arrived on the Amalfi Coast at some point between antiquity and the Middle Ages, presumably via Arab traders. They quickly became an important commodity on the Amalfi Coast. Sailors took the vitamin-rich fruit with them to protect themselves from scurvy.
6. A fashion trend from Positano
Die Moda Positano entstand nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg, besonders in den 1950er- und 1960er-Jahren, als Touristen leichte Leinen- und Baumwollmode kauften. 7. A Roman villa beneath the church
Unter der Pfarrkirche Santa Maria Assunta in Positano liegt, elf Meter unter der Erde, eine römische Villa mit gut erhaltenen Fresken. Ausgegraben wurde sie ab 2003, öffentlich zugänglich ist sie erst seit Kurzem.

8. Wagner and Villa Rufolo
1880 verbrachte Richard Wagner Überlieferungen zu Folge Zeit in der Villa Rufolo in Ravello und soll sich hier zum Zaubergarten Klingsors aus Parsifal inspiriert gefühlt haben. Ihm zu Ehren finden in den Gärten der Villa bis heute jährlich Wagner-Konzerte statt.
